Interstate closed after truck accident injures 2

Whether it is night or day, vehicles can been seen traveling on the roads across the state of Texas. It is very common for large trucks such as semi-trucks and tractor-trailers to traveling during the late hours of the night and the early hours of the morning because many of them are making long distance shipments. This often leads to truck drivers being fatigued. Moreover, drivers traveling late at night might have poor night vision or could even be intoxicated. Although accidents could happen at anytime, traveling during the night can be very hazardous.

Authorities were dispatched to a truck accident that involved an automobile and an 18-wheeler that was hauling poles in the flatbed of the trailer. The two vehicles collided on Interstate-35. The crash resulted in the truck striking with the concrete barrier on the Interstate. This caused the load of utility poles being carried to fall on the roadway. Both drivers were injured in the accident. Traffic was diverted for several hours while the accident site was cleaned and investigation was completed.

Authorities are unsure what caused the crash and if any other factors played a role. In general, following an investigation, officers may be able to determine the cause of the accident and might be able to assign liability. If a driver is at fault, they could be liable for the resulting injuries and damages. An injured individual may be able to seek compensation for the damages they suffered by filing a personal injury claim.

Truck accidents could happen at any time. This is why it is important for drivers and passengers to take proper safety precautions in order to avoid serious injuries if a crash were to occur. If a negligent driver causes an accident, an injured party might have a cause of action to recover for the resulting damages and injuries. .
